As we've seen this week, God's standards are impossibly high when we rely on our own strength. But the beautiful truth of the gospel is that God doesn't just give us a new set of rules - He gives us new hearts. Through Christ, we receive the Holy Spirit who empowers us to live in a way that pleases God. Today, thank God for His new covenant. Reflect on how your life has changed since coming to faith in Christ. Where do you still see need for growth? Ask God to continue His transforming work in you, writing His law on your heart and empowering you to live for His glory.
