Reading: Psalm 44:1-8, Ephesians 2:1-10
As we reflect on Psalm 44:1-8, we're reminded that our salvation and every blessing we receive come from God's grace alone. The Psalmist recounts how it was God's power, not human strength, that delivered their ancestors. Similarly, Paul emphasizes in Ephesians that our salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our own efforts.
Today, take time to consider the ways God has shown His grace in your life. How has He worked on your behalf when you were powerless? In what areas do you still try to rely on your own strength instead of God's grace? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you fully embrace and rest in God's unmerited favor, trusting that He will complete the good work He has begun in you.
