Thursday, July 10: The Glorious Bride

Day 4: The Glorious Bride

Reading: Psalm 45:9-15; Ephesians 5:25-27

As the Church, we are the Bride of Christ, called to forget our old life and bow to our new King. This radical allegiance shift can be challenging. What aspects of your "old life" are you still clinging to? What worldly attachments is God asking you to release? Remember, our beauty as the Bride comes not from our own efforts, but from Christ's transforming work in us. He is making us "all glorious within." Spend time today allowing God to search your heart, revealing areas that need His purifying touch. Rejoice in the incredible privilege of being brought into the courts of the King, clothed in His righteousness.
