Tuesday, July 8: The Victorious Warrior
Day 2: The Victorious Warrior
Reading: Psalm 45:3-5; Ephesians 6:10-18
Today we see our King as a mighty warrior, fighting for truth, meekness, and righteousness. In your personal battles against sin, injustice, or despair, remember that Jesus fights on your behalf. His victory on the cross has already secured your ultimate triumph. What areas of your life feel like a battlefield right now? Bring these before the Lord, asking Him to fight for you. At the same time, consider how you can "put on the full armor of God" to stand firm in faith. Our King's arrows are sharp, piercing the hearts of His enemies – including our own sinful nature. Allow His truth to penetrate deeply, transforming you from the inside out.
