Wednesday, July 16: Be Still and Know
Day 3: Be Still and Know
Reading: Psalm 46:10-11, Mark 4:35-41
In the midst of life's storms, God calls us to "be still and know that I am God." This isn't a passive stillness, but an active trust in God's sovereignty. Jesus demonstrated this when He calmed the storm, showing His authority over creation. What areas of your life feel chaotic or out of control? Practice being still in God's presence today, surrendering your anxieties to Him. Remember that the same God who commands the wind and waves is with you in your struggles. Let His peace guard your heart and mind as you trust in His power and love.
