Day 3: Singing Praises to Our King
Reading: Psalm 47:6-7, Ephesians 5:18-20
The Psalmist calls us repeatedly to "sing praises" to our King. This isn't a reluctant duty, but an overflow of joy in response to who God is and what He has done. In Christ, we have even more reason to sing, as we've experienced the depth of God's love through the cross and resurrection.
Today, focus on cultivating a heart of praise. What aspects of God's character or works fill you with awe? How has He been faithful in your life? Even if you're facing difficulties, choose to praise Him for who He is. Consider putting on some worship music and singing along, letting the truths about our King sink deep into your heart.
