Tuesday, October 7 | Faith in the Messiah
Day 2: Faith in the Messiah
Reading: Matthew 9:27-31
The blind men recognized Jesus as the "Son of David," a messianic title. Their faith was not just in a miracle-worker, but in the promised Messiah. Jesus' response shows that He values faith that is rooted in a correct understanding of who He is.
Consider your own faith. Is it based on who Jesus truly is – the Son of God and promised Savior? Or do you sometimes reduce Him to simply a source of blessings or solutions to problems? True faith recognizes Jesus for who He is and trusts in His character and promises.
Prayer: Jesus, Son of David, strengthen my faith in You. Help me to see You clearly for who You are, and to trust not just in what You can do, but in who You are as my Lord and Savior.
