Day 2: Childlike Faith
Reading: Matthew 11:25-27; Mark 10:13-16

God hides truth from the "wise and understanding" but reveals it to children. This isn't about intellectual capacity but heart posture. The self-sufficient, who trust in their own wisdom and moral effort, cannot comprehend grace. But those who come with childlike trust—believing without needing to figure everything out first—receive revelation. Christianity is unique: every other religion demands we work our way to God, but the gospel says, "You can't, so I did." This seems foolish to human wisdom but is the power of God. Are you trying to understand your way to God, or will you trust your way to Him? Release your need to control and comprehend everything, and simply believe.
