Day 4: Born Under the Law
Reading: Galatians 4:1-7
We are natural-born slaves enslaved to sin, to worldly values, to the endless pursuit of things that never satisfy. Perhaps you're enslaved to materialism, working endlessly for possessions you barely enjoy. Maybe it's approval, performance, or control. We think we're free, but we're bound. This is why the incarnation matters so profoundly. Jesus was born under the same law, faced the same temptations, yet never sinned. He lived the righteous life we couldn't live, then took our place on the cross. The great exchange happened: His righteousness credited to us, our sin placed on Him. You're no longer a slave but a son or daughter. Stop living like you're still in bondage. You've been redeemed. Walk in the freedom Christ purchased for you.
