Day 5: Grace That Transforms
Reading: Galatians 3:1-14
Devotional: Here's the paradox: you never really start getting better until you stop trying to get better through your own effort. The Galatians began by faith but foolishly tried to be perfected by works. We do the same—saved by grace, but then we attempt to grow through grinding effort and self-improvement. True transformation happens when we look to Jesus as our righteousness and let the Spirit change us. When we stop controlling the process and trust God's grace, we get more of Him and less of us, which naturally decreases sinfulness. This doesn't mean passivity, but it means working from acceptance, not for acceptance. You will actually work harder than ever before, but now for His glory, empowered by His Spirit, rather than in your own strength for your own validation.
