Day 4: The Coming Judgment

Reading: Romans 2:1-16; 2 Corinthians 5:6-10

Devotional: A day of reckoning is coming when every careless word will be examined, when hearts will be laid bare before a holy God. This isn't meant to terrify believers but to sober us. Many will claim religious credentials on that day—pointing to their service, their knowledge, their deeds. But Jesus will say, "I never knew you." Relationship, not religious activity, is what matters. The judgment seat of Christ will reveal what was truly in our hearts. Were we building His kingdom or ours? Were we serving in love or seeking recognition? This reality should drive us daily to the cross, where mercy triumphs over judgment. Don't trust in your good works or religious pedigree. Trust only in Christ's finished work, and let that grace transform how you live today.
