Day 3: Greater Than Solomon
Reading: 1 Kings 10:1-13
Devotional: The Queen of Sheba traveled thousands of miles to hear Solomon's wisdom, and she wasn't disappointed. Yet Solomon himself concluded that everything "under the sun" is meaningless—true meaning exists only beyond the natural world, in God Himself. Jesus is that wisdom personified, the treasure worth abandoning everything to possess. Solomon's temple was magnificent, but Jesus is the true temple. Solomon's wisdom was a gift from God, but Jesus is God's wisdom incarnate. What are you traveling toward today? What wisdom are you seeking? The world offers countless counterfeits, but something—Someone—infinitely greater than Solomon stands ready to give you not just wisdom for living, but life itself. Stop seeking advice and start surrendering to the Advisor.
