Day 4: Blessed Eyes and Ears
Reading: Matthew 13:10-17; Ephesians 1:15-19
Devotional: Why do you believe when others don't? Not because you're smarter, more moral, or more religious. You believe because God, in His mercy, opened your eyes and unstoppered your ears. The prophets longed to see what you see—Christ revealed, the kingdom inaugurated, salvation accomplished. This isn't cause for pride but profound gratitude. You've been given the secrets of the kingdom not because you deserved them, but because God is gracious. This revelation should produce humility and wonder. Today, thank God specifically for opening your eyes to see Jesus. Pray for someone whose eyes remain closed, asking God to grant them the same mercy He showed you.
